Daily Duties at Pets Mart:

District Human Resource Manager • Responsible for the effective guidance, supervision and control of all Human Resource programs in 46 stores. My region consists of Missouri, Central Illinois, and Minnesota. • Recruiting, Training, Associate and Management relations, Sexual harassment, Labor relations, Benefits administration, Compensation and Employee retention. • A consultant to individual Directors, Assistant Directors, and District Managers. • Growth and development for all new Manager Trainees and existing Managers. • Certified to teach Effective management skill classes, LIFO orientation, and Diversity classes. Human Resource Manager - Distribution • Responsible for the recruiting and hiring of managers and associates. • Increased the total number of associates from 400 to over 1000. • Assist Managers in developing action plans for their growth and development. • Worked closely with DCM and Management team in staffing decisions. • Conducted special training classes for hourly supervisors and team leaders.
