Daily Duties at Us Navy Fleet Readiness Center Southwest:

• Team Lead: Revitalized and managed the mentorship and training of 15 employees, resulting in a dramatic increase in employee logistical knowledge, increasing production efficiency and reducing rework by 25%. • Documented, monitored, and revised numerous ineffective purchase contracts, saving over $548,000 in unnecessary expenditures per fiscal year. • Led logistics management and tracking of over 6,000 purchase requirements valued over $4.5M to support all 17 squadrons in Naval Base Coronado including evaluation and planning of procurement process for purchases in accordance with the Department of the Navy’s policies and procedures. • Provided technical support to ensure effective operations of supply activities; processed high priority requisitions, Casualty Reports (CASREP) and routine materials valued over $3M; tracked and monitored all requisitions under the Navy Enterprise Rouse Planning (Navy ERP) system. • Implemented new procedures to improve credit card processing from two days to one day resulting in increased productivity and job completion meeting deadlines.
