Daily Duties at Med Assets:

Manage vendor relations and contract details for Kaiser Permanente’s Cardiology (Cardiac Rhythm Management, Core Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Ultrasound) group. Work with doctors at Kaiser Permanente regarding equipment evaluations and contract acquisition. Ensure that Kaiser’s Cardiology team has the equipment and supplies necessary to perform life-saving procedures and that those items are purchased from reliable vendors in a timely manner and at a price that produces cost-savings for the client. Track various contracts to ensure that all pre-work in renewing contracts or seeking out new contracts is completed prior to the current contract’s expiration. Advise client as to when it would be beneficial to have single-, dual-, or multi-source contracts for their equipment and supplies needs based on the procedures completed and current structural layout at each facility/region. Prepare presentations and assist in managing face-to-face meetings. Created presentation for department’s use at National Product Council (NPC) meetings.
