Daily Duties at The Nielsen Company :
Led transition and ongoing management of financial activities for acquired local market research company into Nielsen corporate infrastructures. Directed performance and migration of financial management functions, including analysis of financial performance, preparing US GAAP compliant financial reports, budget administration, cash management, and tax planning / reporting. Leveraged expertise in international accounting practices to develop and implement US GAAP compliant practices for general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, year-end audits, regulatory reporting, and month-end closings.
