Daily Duties at Pacific Atelier International:
Took projects from concept to completed construction. Assess the Client’s needs whether it is tenant improvement such as an entire roof coating to repairing a preschool’s jungle gym. With the use of Revit Architecture 2009 and AutoCAD 2008 I drew plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules putting together an entire permit/bid package complete with specifications. Sometimes I processed my own project’s building permit. Solicited potential contractors to bid on upcoming projects. Handled construction management side by going out to site visits, writing reports to the Client showing the progress of the project. Dealt with other parts of being a Construction Manager when concerns in the field arise such as RFI”s (request for information), product submittals, rain delays and payment applications. Projects include renovation to Resort Air Hangar Lagoon Drive (Honolulu Airport), Kamehameha Schools Capitol Improvements, Dole Plantation Store Expansion, Kamehameha Pre-Schools, Waikoloa Beach Village (Island of Hawaii) and AAA Hawaii Office Expansion.
