Daily Duties at Atlas Development Corporation:
• Part of management team for many years, and oversaw all aspects of accounting procedures. Was able to meet deadlines at all times. • Responsible for coordinating interfacing, and managing audit relationships with clients. • Researched accounting issues relative to the organization as well as assisted in policy implementation for the company. • Detail oriented for all types of company spreadsheets for tracking purposes. • In-charge of all Personnel Files, Payroll, and 401K Administrator for 4 years. • Assisted with Outside CPA audits and reviews of financials. • Close communication with Project Managers, Sales Team, and other Department Managers within the organization for all Client matters, as they would arise. • Responsible for all 1099’s, W-9’s, audit schedules, year-end tax financials, and contributed to the profitability of the company. • Maintained all documentation & preparation for audits conducted by Bank, LA County, and outside of State of California. • Developed, coordinated, inputted, and maintaining all client contracts, client billings, and contractual milestones on the company Outstanding Project Report. All Executive Staff members, as well as Project Managers and Account Executives for client reference purposes used this OPR report. • Reviewed client contract terms and conditions and made sure staff were aware of these terms. • Developed and tracked all clients being at the contractual milestones, monthly bills, change orders, interfaces, and all miscellaneous billings throughout the month for each client. • Managed and created the Collections Department. There was never a bad debt at the company. • Solely responsible for A/P and A/R for $ 14 Million Company for almost 7 years. • Involved in cost accounting system and breakdowns between each department in company for more accurate accounting purposes. • Responsible for ordering and maintaining spreadsheets on outside software licenses for the company and it clients. Maintained and billed out Change Orders and Interfaces as completed by project manager and implementation staff. • Involved in all aspects of vendor accounts, client relations, and employee expenses. • Made sure all expenses and charges were designated to specific cost center or department. • Conducted analysis on different projects, throughout the years. • Maintained a constant cash flow for the companies needs. Made deposits within different checking and line of credit accounts for company. • Trained and supervised staff of 4-5 in areas of A/P, A/R, Payroll, Purchasing, & Collections for company. • Calculated and documented the Quarterly Sales Commissions for employees. • Responsible for executing A/R invoice billing for over 125 Clients monthly - which is approximately over 1000 invoices. • Conducted monthly reconciliation of four Bank Accounts and oversaw and reconciled 4 Lines of Credit for company finances. • Negotiated, maintained, & represented Co. for establishing Lines of Credit with banks. • Prepared and generated financial reports, and posted journal entries as required. • Maintained, and posted monthly company petty cash, and processed all EFT’s. Recommended that deposits be made electronically to bank on a daily basis. • Reviewed reasonableness and accuracy of expense reimbursements.
