Daily Duties at California Baptist University:
Successfully manage human resource activities including staffing, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation, risk management, and employee transactional services. Conduct investigations and make recommendations for expedient and legally sound resolution. Act as subject matter expert on personnel policy including development and communication of revisions/new policies; create and facilitate management training programs; screen candidates and conduct new hire orientation; administer benefits and worker's compensation programs; administer performance management program; implement and maintain monthly employee newsletter; complete surveys and census reports including 401(k) nondiscrimination testing data; oversee payroll processing (ADP).
