Daily Duties at Fleming:
• Directed, implemented, and supported enterprise systems software, hardware, database strategies, and managed a staff of over 40. • The department was dispersed amongst 8 different departments: Mainframe MVS/0S390, VSE, Electronic Document Warehouse & Archival, Enterprise Print Strategy, and Open Systems using AIX, AS400 & UNIX, SAP BASIS, DATABASE DB2, Oracle, MSSQL & Informix and Hardware Storage Support this included DASD, NAS & SAN. • Coordinated the planning, testing, deployment and maintenance of mainframe and midrange computer equipment, system software integration and databases throughout the company. • Guided the annual operating budget of $11,000,000.00, annual payroll of $2,100,000 and administered $7.5 million in annual software licenses. • Successfully Directed SAP Database migration project, moving from Oracle on AIX to DB2 on the MVS mainframe.
