Daily Duties at Blue Diamond Growers:

Initially hired as Region Manager with responsibilities over Industrial, Retail and Food Service sales in the western U.S. Promoted to National Sales Manager after 18 months, responsible for 6 region managers and 76 broker territories. Eventually promoted to Marketing Manager with P&L responsibility for all retail branded businesses worldwide. Orchestrated the development and introduction of the first honey roasted almond to the snack category. Objective was to facilitate a quick and cost effective market introduction. Activities include managing a staff representing 8 different departments including R&D, marketing, advertising, sales, engineering, production, logistics and purchasing, Project resulted in a successful introduction within 6 months of initiation. Product generated over $3 million revenue within first 12 months. Expanded to several international markets in year 2 with revenues increasing to $4.25 million.
