Daily Duties at Department Of Children & Families:

• 30 individual cases of children living in foster homes • investigate, evaluate and make recommendations for Juvenile Court on all petitions alleging neglect or abuse of children • consult with psychologists, psychiatrists and other staff to develop and administer treatment plans; and consult with community groups to determine appropriate referrals and develop community resources • maintain medical, physical, social and psychological histories; counsel families, children and youth both individually and in groups • recruit and select foster and adoptive homes for placement of children • Assisted in the Annual DCF Adoption Day event ***Commended by the Juvenile Court District Court Judge (in writing) for being so well prepared for court while being new on the case.***
