Daily Duties at Kaplan Virtual Schools:

• Developed, implemented & continuously monitored retention improvement action plans and adjusted them to address individual current nationwide school needs. • Developed, analyzed & indentified root causes of deficient data on student retention, course completion and student/parent satisfaction. • Monitored student performance, analyzed problem areas, prescribed solutions & conducted intervention success plans & processes. • Developed policy directives & procedures for student success measurement & ensured that the appropriate techniques were being used. • Managed & empowered team of fifteen (15) academic coaches by providing goals, tools & planning needed to assist students in overcoming obstacles and obtaining successful course completion. • Conducted weekly academy meetings (10) with the different individual school’s coach to insure progress towards set goals. • Participated in daily leadership/academic advisement/principal meetings to analyze situations, trends & made recommendations for actions. • Managed coach’s personal coaching plan for successful student load. • Trained, coached and mentored all fifteen (15) nationwide academic coaches. • Assisted in the development of the “New Coaches” training curriculum and participated in training coaches in Kaplan’s annual coaches training. • Managed student/parent experience which includes student pace mgmt • Collaborated with instructional strategies dept, faculty, dept. chairs and curriculum departments. • Prepared reports and Standard Operating Procedures to include the monthly re-enrollment report. • Organized team activities to facilitate cohesiveness, rapport & team morale. • Responsible for all aspects of the Academic Coaching Department.
