Daily Duties at Maritz Inc.:

•Track costs daily in order to ensure accurate revenue recognition for month-end reporting •Maintain positive cash flow by managing project cash position through timely client invoicing and cost tracking •Analyze current and projected expenses monthly to update project margin as needed •Review aging schedule to determine accurate and timely billing based on costs and/or billing agreements. •Collect all outstanding Accounts Receivable balances by coordinating with the Accounts Receivable department, Project Manager or the Client directly •Communicate regularly with Project Management regarding the financial aspects of the project and update the Financial Manager of any potential write-off’s or write-on’s to the project •Adhere and maintain all required financial documentation for GAAP, internal and external audits •Reconcile all projects by top-level or line-item budgeted amounts based on client agreements •Prepare ad-hoc analysis and presentations as needed •Analyze the deviation between budgeted, projected and actual cost /price throughout the life time of the projects •Create and maintain cost, revenue and gross profit reports based on need, i.e. Corporate Management, Account Management, Project Manager, Client •Identify fiscal vs. project variances •Review client contracts to determine billable, non-billable, pass-through and travel items based on programs •Review outside vendor contracts to validate accuracy of costs by program •Support and Guide Project Management and Sales regarding Corporate Contract Policy requirements
