COVER LETTER: To Whom It May Concern: I am a A&P mechanic having nearly 35 years expert engine and aircraft knowledge. Tenacious and creative problem solver and trouble shooter who can analyze recurring issues, determine root causes and recommend viable solutions. Just recently assigned to Iraqi F-16 Block 52 Program as Engine Section Supervisor. Supervising and maintaining the F100-PW-229 engine, historical records, maintenance data base and day to day operations associated with the F-16 engine. As certifier and trainer I see to it that all assigned personnel meet all required tasks and that maintenance is kept to the highest level of proficiency through follow up and evaluation. Manage the training and progression of local national engine personnel ensuring that upgrade training is kept to schedule and each individual meets or exceeds his desired goals. Having been afforded the opportunity to manage and supervise many people and programs through out my career while stationed in Korea assigned as Avionics Flight Section Lead, 65 people assigned managed avionics restructure combing 5 separate avionic career fields on the U-2 aircraft into one, was able to accomplish required objective months ahead of schedule. As lead engine technician during deployment to Incirlik AB, Turkey accomplished 70 engine borescope inspections and 7 engine replacements in a 3 month period, thus being awarded Maintenance Professional of the Quarter. On most recent assignment in Iraq developed and implemented engine run, blade blend, and borescope classes for the F100-PW-229 engine, eliminating IP pilots as only engine run certified personnel thus eliminating aircraft down time due to pilot shortage and better coverage for blade blend and borescope inspections. These are but a few of my accomplishments would look forward to further discussion in the near future. Sincerely, Emanuel Young
