Key Qualifications And Strengths * Currently serving as a Hospice Chaplain. * Demonstrates a working knowledge of the stages and manifestation of grief. * Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families from a variety of cultural, ethnic, religious/spiritual and socioeconomic backgrounds. * Identify the need for consultation with other members of the interdisciplinary team or with experts in specialized areas of spiritual care or psychosocial practice. * Assess on an ongoing basis, the spiritual/religious needs and resources of patients and families. * Ability to perform job duties responsibly and consistently without supervision. * Proficient at office applications and utilizing evolving technology as instructed. 5 years as a compassionate and versatile spiritual counselor including care to the terminally ill 1 year as a successful facilitator of a grief support group-Beyond Grief Conducted upwards of 200 home hospital and convalescent home visits * Solid standing in the pastoral and church community * Documents care provided and the response of the patient/family documentation in a timely fashion as described in agency policy Led memorial services Conducted Veteran Pinning ceremonies * Volunteer coach of 6 home bible study groups averaging 15 people per group * Volunteer coach of 4 men exclusive bible study group averaging per group
