Areas of Expertise * Facilities management/technician experience consists of the management, development & maintenance within a variety of projects whose worth ranged in excess of $20 million dollars. Managing the relationship cycle with vendor/contractors, identifying, qualifying, selecting & monitoring suppliers as well as articulating & negotiating service level agreements. In addition to pursuing new vendors & building relationships as needed. While managing professional correspondence on the company's behalf in relation to vendor communications. * Safety management promotion and training of all staff members. Monitoring the safety of all employees wherein the safe effective execution of all maintenance & improvements on structures & equipment is foremost. Developing & administering a proactive safety program oriented towards maintenance activities to ensure zero accidents. Successfully supervised the training of all department personnel on maintenance safety procedures. Ensuring that continual safety considerations are paramount in the execution of all maintenance & plant support activities. Currently OSHA 511 Standards for General Industry certified. * Supervisory and leadership management processes & strategies acquired, encompass the approval of employment, promotion, training, counseling, disciplinary action, dismissal or change in compensation of all maintenance personnel within a 4 to 40 employee production staff. Champion a teamwork atmosphere within the maintenance staff as well as within the company. Coaching teams as needed to increase overall effectiveness. Review disciplinary action as required, in a fair & consistent manner. Assure that the performance of all personnel in the maintenance department is such that the adherence to standards & specifications is ensured and that work of the highest quality prevails.
