SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS - Extensive technical experience in Quality Assurance with over 30 years dealing with commercial, government and military contracts/programs based requirements and 29 years specializing in quality assurance processes for Composites, Avionics, Titanium, Titanium Alloy and Elastomer for the aerospace industry. - Ability to supervise, train and direct inspection personnel in quality concepts, aid in understanding and recognizing required standards and to interpret and troubleshoot inspection related issues as they pertained to the integrity of the product being manufactured and/or certified. - 10 years as a FAA DMIR (Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative) 6 years as a FAA Chief Inspector and 6 years as a FAA Repairman - Experience in the collection of quality related cost data for proposed contracts. - The competency to develop, establish, maintain and improve quality systems for FAA/Government, Customer (both International and Domestic) and Industry based requirements, such as, AS9000, AS9100, ISO9000, D6- 82479, D1-9000A, FAA Part 21, 145 and NADCAP. - Experience and a proven track record obtaining approvals/certification from independent Third Party approval agencies and Customers of developed quality systems. - Skilled in communication with both internal and external parties concerning quality and/or regulatory related issues and concerns. - Coordination and Facilitation of Quality Management Reviews, monthly audit meetings, Employee Quality training secessions and additional associated quality meetings. - The development of processes and documentation to comply with Quality measurement and improvement systems. - Sound knowledge in the development, support and monitoring of Subcontractors/Suppliers. - Knowledgeable in the operation of Windows and in-house computer software systems, including Word, Excel, Access and, Power Point.
