Application Center management including: -daily maintenance of all the instruments-JEOl 2010 TEM, FEI Quanta 3D FEG FIB/SEM, Kratos Axis 165 XPS/SAES, Hitachci S-3600N VPSEM, Rigaku XRD etc. -arranging field engineers' visiting and services, service contract renewal and purchasing: -assisting instrument purchasing -center accounting including generating monthly user invoices, annual rate development, annual report of center revenues and expenses Training and Supervising graduate students in operation of the above facilities Technical support for the faculty members both inside and outside LSU and industry users Teaching assistance in courses related to material characterization of thin solid films in microfabrication Electroplating of high-aspect-ratio microscale structures Development of microscale devices with microfabrication techniques including high temperature instrumented micromolding and electrical discharge micromaching. High temperature instrumented micromolding of metals with LiGA fabricated Ni inserts. Molding process optimization. Mechanics of micromolding through electron microscopy observations and modeling.
