Career Highlights PRINCIPAL TECHNICIAN, EDISON WELDING INSTITUTE * Drove parameter development and training on ABB robotic systems that resulted in successful qualification plates. Assisting and witnessing first article runoffs were requested by NAVSEA. Success in the project resulted in the evaluation of additional funding for other projects. PRINCIPAL TECHNICIAN, EDISON WELDING INSTITUTE * Consistently strives to learn new welding processes while operating at 85% billable. Engineering duties that have been given include customer interaction, knowledge transfer and presentation, design and implementation of equipment, proving out systems, and costing and implementation of systems. PRINCIPAL TECHNICIAN, EDISON WELDING INSTITUTE * Major contributions to the Venturi Buckeye Bullet 3, the World's Fastest Electric Vehicle (EV). Manual welding included the chassis, suspension and cooling tanks. Provided design input to the Ohio State University (OSU) students working on the project. The Venturi Buckeye Bullet 3 broke the speed record for Special Construction Electric, Category A, Group 8, Class 8 at 341 mph.
