Analyzer Specialist: Analyzer consultant who serves in the capacity of an industry wide expert in process analyzer systems, both internally and externally. Accountable for the successful application of analyzer technology in complex projects and has developed a reputation within the industry to be a confident resource in the field of analysis, sample handling systems and of instrumentation in general. Able to develop good working relationships with contractors, project clients and teams, also capable of directing the activities of multiple project team members to produce successful projects. Consistently proven successful not only analytically, on time and with-in budget as well. Technical responsibility for sample transport, handling, conditioning, and disposal systems for difficult to handle high temperature, high pressure, and over-all selection of process analyzer methods and systems. Willing to travel to various sites if required. Provides the routine and scheduled maintenance and repair, as well as the preventive maintenance and calibration of Process Analyzers, portable meters and monitoring devices. Tracks and updates assigned tasks in maintenance management system on a regular basis, and always available for maintenance on-call or remote log-in for PC support. Interacts with Site Operations to ensure that the plants analytical needs are met and communicates upgrades or deficiencies for software and license compliance. Also, supports SHE, OSHA, TCEQ and EPA in compliance with all environmental, safety, and health requirements while promoting a safe working environment. Gathers estimates, writes functional design specifications and set guidelines for training and updating procedures. Works as a team with other analyzer technicians to perform routine and extraordinary turnarounds from shut-down to start-up activities, while adhering to high standards of productivity, quality, teamwork, 5S housekeeping and safety.
