Qualifications * Operate arc and gas welding equipment effectively. * Effectively use welding tools to cut, lay out, fit and weld a variety of metal parts and pipes. * 30+ years' experience in industrial piping and plate trades, QC., ASME codes and testing including MT, PT, UT and X-Ray. * Assemble and install all types of process piping installations, including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, PVC, CPVC and copper piping. * Specialize in food grade Ammonia Refrigeration and Chill Water systems. Projects include: food grade piping systems in processing plants, poultry plants, beverage manufactures, produce plants, cold storage facilities, food distributors, ice facilities, meat processing plants. * Studied schematics, diagrams and blueprints to determine layout of pipes and devise welding plan. * Effectively Install and verify operation of high pressure steel gas pipe and fittings, fabricate and install steel fittings on hot and cold lines. * Extensive knowledge in Pipe Arrangements, Branch Lines, Penetrations, Thermal Expansion/Contraction, Joint Alignment, Figures, Liquid Supply Lines and Return Lines. * Efficient in startups of new and repaired equipment, compressor and pump rebuilds, emergency shutdowns.
