I am a Dispute Specialist with extensive experience in Customer Service and New Account Applications for Discover Card. I have ten years of experience at taking phone calls from customers to answer credit card related questions, solve problems and initiating disputes. I was also responsible for making/taking phone calls on new applications for approval of new credit cards. By following many different procedures and making judgmental decisions on different review rules. I took credit line increase requests; looked for fraud applications, and also made sure credit limits are in line for the applicants. After the applications are approved, calling the card members to make them aware of the approval and "Welcomed" them to Discover Bank. I also made them aware of all the benefits and features of their card and answered any questions. I also sold additional cards, balance transfers, Identity Theft Protection, Wallet Protection, and Payment Protection. I did any necessary research to make sure their questions, problems and/or disputes were answered.
