Description
Summary of Qualifications: * Able to read and interpret floor plans and blue prints. * Proficient in installation and testing of cable in ceilings, conduit, raised floors, cable trays and racks and patch panels. Able to build out cable support in IDF/MDF and communications rooms * Able to perform testing and troubleshooting of cabling faults. * Able to terminate and dress cables from workstation and offices to wall fields, cable racks and patch panels, according to BICSI standards. * Proficient in organizing, scheduling and managing work requests and all required activities. * Experience in installation and testing of telecommunication and network devices. * Proficient in use of job related tools and test equipment. * In depth knowledge of cabling coax, (cat 5/6/6e/fiber) and cable termination standards. * Basic understanding of BICSI standards and LAN/WAN topology. * Proficient in use of forklift, scissors lift and cherry picker lift. and * Perform installation, routing and termination and testing of voice, data, security cabling (cat 5/6/6e) in ceiling, conduits, modular furniture as well as data centers, communication closets as well as warehouse and industrial locations. * Proficient in reading and interpreting blue prints and floor plans. * Installation of J-hooks, cable trays, ladder racks and other cable supporting infrastructure. * Build and install ladder racks and patch panels. terminate cables in workstations as well as wall fields and patch panels. * Experience in the use of forklift and hoisting/lift equipment. * Proficient in and adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols. and, routing and termination of cabling (cat 5/6/6e) in ceiling, conduits, modular furniture as well as data centers and communication closets. * Proficient in reading and interpreting blue prints and floor plans. * Installation of J-hooks, cable trays, ladder racks and other cable supporting infrastructure. * Build and install ladder racks and patch panels. terminate cables in workstations as well as wall fields and patch panels. * Proficient in and adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols.
