Profile Licensed A&P mechanic with 15 plus years of experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery of aircraft. Lead mechanic with 5 years of experience in line maintenance job planning including parts ordering while utilizing direct communication with other maintenance bases, maintenance control, and management while supporting line maintenance on thru-flights, preparing pass downs and work scopes, task preparation, and tooling support. Aircraft Knowledge Aircraft: Embraer 135, 145, 170 and 190, Canadair 200, 700 and 900. Engines: Rolls Royce 3007A, GE CF8 and CF10, PW V2500 Highlights of Qualifications Aircraft Maintenance * Gather information through conference calls with management and maintenance control and MEL tracking lists enabling timely action on discrepancies on thru-flights and RON aircraft. * Perform routine inspections on assigned aircraft and document findings. * Study specifications documents, SB's, AD's, EO's, wiring and system schematics to ensure required parts and tooling on hand to facilitate proper performance of tasks. * Install, disassemble, repair, and replace variety of subassemblies on diverse aircraft. * Use micrometers, calipers, electric/electronic measuring instruments, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, and digital tools and equipment in performance of daily aircraft maintenance operations. * Operate hand and power equipment, inclusive of forklifts, cranes, hand trucks and hydraulic mules.
