QUALIFICATIONS * More than ten (10) years experience as a Certified Medical Assistant and two (2) years as a Certified Nurse Assistant with hands-on training working in Hospitals and Clinical Facilities. * Extensive work with patients in Internal Medicine/Traumatology/PMR/Sports Medicine, providing necessary health education and training for patients, interviewing patients to obtain medical information, taking vital signs, weight, height, preparing treatment rooms for patients examinations, keeping the rooms clean and neat, performing phlebotomy, EKG, administering injections, answering telephones and arranging prescription refills. * Licensed in Florida with expertise in Internal Medicine/Traumatology/Sport/Medicine/PMR. * Five (5) years experience at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital - Humble, Texas * Twenty (20) years experience at Centro de Rehabilitación Neuromuscular - Valencia, Venezuela * Continuous pursuit of additional training opportunities and education CLIINICAL EXCELLENCE * Clinical and Administrative Expertise * Extensive Knowledge of English and Spanish Medical Terminology * Administering Injections and Medications as Directed by Physicians * First Aid and CPR * Treatment Room Preparation * Strong core knowledge of medical ethics and procedures
