Profile: I am currently unemployed as I have just been approved for a California work licence. I have worked as a Senior Healthcare Assistant at the Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London, United Kingdom. Due to a reorganisation of the Healthcare Assistants team in the A&E Department - to meet the current and future needs of the service, with my many years clinical experience, I had been given the opportunity to lead the other Healthcare Assistants competently, efficiently and professional. I have been seconded to work with the IT team to help train and support over 2000 members of staff for the upgrading the hospitals Electronic Patients Record (EPR) system to go paper light. While I have been doing this I have started and completed the Access to Higher Education Diploma in Nursing, this helped me gain a place in Middlesex University. I now feel that I am ready to progress to the next stage in my career.
