Throughout my career representing Fortune 500 Companies, I have become a seasoned trial lawyer with a complex litigation and transaction practice including primary or secondary responsibility for numerous jury trials in both state and federal courts. My practice has included extensive experience in the trial and appellate defense of toxic tort, medical malpractice, professional liability, product liability, insurance, premises liability, and employment law. My clients have included hospitals, railroads, trucking companies, barge operations, petrochemical manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, coal companies, and insurance companies. In more than twenty (20) years of practicing law, I have been asked to assume the roles of Risk Manager, Regulatory/Compliance Specialist, and Human Resources Generalist with substantial exposure to issues involving Medicaid/Medicare, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and regulatory compliance.
