QUALIFICATIONS: While working as an outside operator, I trained in rotating equipment surveillance using vibration detection equipment. I qualified as a Step-up Production Lead (shift supervisor), well versed the incident command system, along with maintenance planning and supervision. My background in construction and maintenance work allowed me to be an outside coordinator on unit turn-a-rounds and my working knowledge of the processes allowed me the role of start-up and shut-down event commander. I also played a part in the development of the Intel-e-trac (Hand held digital data collector) rounds for two of the units in which I held certifications. My unit knowledge allowed me to be assigned trainees to certify in both the S.R.U.'s and Sulfolane units. While training as a Production Manager, I was fortunate enough to learn the board operation on Cygnet, Honeywell and Delta V DCS operating systems. I attended classes on technical writing and used this training to write and modify procedures for unit operations and specialized unit tasks. I have a working knowledge of PI process book for unit trends. I was inside event commander on several planned unit shut downs and start-ups. Prior to becoming an operator, I was a general superintendent for Bay ltd. My job duties included Q/A on all aspects of oil and gas facility construction. Man power control and coordination. Planning and overseeing the fabrication and installation along with material ordering, and the safety of up 150-200 man jobs. I have set and installed all types of rotating equipment from pumps to reciprocating and turbine compressors. I have managed industrial facility work form grass root construction to plant wide turnarounds. I have run pipelines, underground as well as above ground in the Artic and hydro-tested various components either individually or as systems, some as high at 20,000 psig. As a Forman I am responsible for the movement of 280 MMSCFD natural gas, 3000 bbl./day of crude oil and the disposal of 30,000 bls of H20/day. I am also responsible for keeping the facility PSM and MI compliant. I have also been involved in PSM auditing.
