Qualifications Currently: Work for Ameritraining Inc since March 2008 as an instructor. Courses which I have taught are all U-verse initial training to include IP DSL and Advanced Repair, Basic cable splicing, advanced cable splicing underground and aerial, Basic Cable Repair, Advanced Repair Find and Fix, Defensive Drivers training and CPR Anytime. I have also worked as a Time Study Evaluator for ATT in all aspects of outside operations. Reciently -January 2014 - July 2014 Worked for Osmose Communications as a field engineer. I was expected to down load spread sheets weekly with locations to either be checked for double pole conditions or rejected condition poles. On rejected condition poles I did a formal inspection and pole replacement form identifying all aspects and related work functions which need to take place and provide a detailed drawing to provide inside engineers the needed information to produce work orders. I was self -directed to complete assigned work in a professional and efficient manner. * Retired from AT&T with 38 years of outside field experience of which, 18 years of work was as a cable Splicing and Repair Technician, working on all aspects of construction and repair operations. * As a Field Manager for AT&T for 20 years, assignments have ranged from supervision of crews consisting of 18 to 45 technicians in construction, repair and installation of telecomm applications, to senior staff positions. Staff position required submission of a detailed business plan to modernize monitoring of underground pressurization protection systems, hire 48 technicians and reduce time and capital expenses by 20%. This was a one year project completed on time and under budget. * Administrative responsibilities have included all military junior and senior levels of command. AT&T required levels of 10% productivity per year, safety and accident prevention, working with union counterparts and actively provide personal attention to customer service. Proficient in use of Microsoft platforms, Voice Mail, fax, Email along with Government/Company internal computer and manual reporting systems. * Recently worked with Elite Security Services LLC as a licensed officer. * Retired Army Field Artillery Officer with over 27 years in The Connecticut National Guard and former United States Marine acquired a great amount of experience in field, supervisory and administrative functions. Prior to my retirement, my last assignment in the CTARNG was the Connecticut State Training Evaluation Officer for the State Training and Readiness Command. While performing field work and supervision operations I had a close relationship with all departments within AT&T (SNET/Woodbury Telephone and SBC) to provide excellent customer service and assure quality performance of the technicians in my teams. Loss prevention and security were of high importance within AT&T and was strongly enforced at the Field Manager level.
