Description
Summary I have worked as a CNC machinist and programmer in Houston since 1976 for Anderson-Greenwood, Geosource, Reed Instruments, Knust SBO, Sunbelt Machining, Microcraft/Esco, Ed's Precision and Godwin SBO. Accomplishments Job shop work is challenging. I have made lathe parts that one can hold on the tip of their finger, panels so thin that they need to be held with masking tape, and parts 18 feet long that weigh 20,000 lbs. Tolerances are often close in these top end job shops. (+/-.0001", 16 finishes etc.) It keeps things interesting. For the last 11 years worked mostly with hard to cut materials. Monel, Incoloy, Nitronic, Titanium, Inconel, etc. Always looking to eliminate tools and unnecessary running time while improving consistency and quality.
