Description
Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (WYDES) to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and Sundry Notices to the Bureau of Land Management Wyoming Oil and Gas Commission and Bureau of Indian Affairs for road applications of wastes/emulsions evaporation volumes for permitted evaporation systems and reclamation of drill pads and pipelines. Sample produced water and oil from jet pumps, gas lifts and rod pumping units for investigation of issues regarding paraffin, corrosion and scaling detrimental to well production. Manage and assemble data to determine types and rates of chemical use to optimize well production. Perform field and laboratory tests - paraffin cloud point/pour point, API Specific Gravity of hydrocarbons, Millipore and Phosphonate tests for scaling tendencies, Iron and Manganese tests for issues relating to corrosion. Monitor bull plugs for paraffin buildup associated with pumping units to ensure paraffin solvents or inhibitors are effectively preventing restriction to production. Sample produced water for bacteria for Acid Producing Bacteria (APB), Sulfur Reducing Bacteria (SRB) and Iron Reducing Bacteria (IRB) using bacteria sampling media to monitor for potential corrosion failures to equipment and damage to the environment. Install and maintain chemical injection systems. Monitor field chemical inventory to check proper application is being applied. Managed recycling of emulsions found in reserve pits tank bottoms and storage facilities for sellable oil recovery.
