COVER LETTER: To Whom It May Concern: I am pleased to submit my resume for consideration for available positions within your organization. My objective is to find a position that utilizes my technical knowledge and hands on experience gained from working in machine production for manufacturing. For the past 16 years, I have been employed at Fleming &Associates Calibration, Inc., an Indianapolis based manufacturer of Airflow Measurement Systems used in gas turbine engine assembly. I began my career assembling measurement systems. Working closely with 3 others, I largely handled the electrical and mechanical aspects of assembly and production for Fleming's product line. Eventually my hands on knowledge of machine assembly and airflow methodology led me to become a Field-Service Calibration Technician. This position involved in-house flow testing of parts, as well as traveling on-site for inspection and calibration procedures for our US customer base, comprised largely of Honeywell Aerospace, Rolls Royce, Pratt &Whitney Canada, Standard Aero and General Electric. When not traveling I was responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to machine operators and engineers working in the field with Fleming equipment. I have a strong background in electronics, pneumatics, schematics assembly and production, and computer technology with emphasis on writing LabView programs. In my opinion, one of my best strengths is that once I understand systems functions, I am able to assess technical difficulties quickly and accurately. I can work well with others to troubleshoot and solve problems. I have experience working in large facilities and am familiar with safety training systems and OSHA regulations in industrial environments. Above all, I have a personal commitment to providing quality work, and a true desire to utilize my technical skill set which has been years in the making. Outside of my career, I enjoy spending time with my family, appreciating nature and playing guitar. I believe that I have the experience needed to be an asset to your Company and help you meet your production goals.
