Professional Summary I am a licensed Chiropractor with a history of practice of 31 years in the Los Angeles area. My professional experiences include four years of practice as an independent contractor within a Chiropractic office. This was followed by employment at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic as an Associate Clinical Professor with the responsibilities of mentoring, monitoring and training Chiropractic students while they progressed through their clinic internship in off campus treating clinics. This would involve the training of up to 22 chiropractic interns per semester. I was also assigned as Clinic Director in an off- campus clinic for a 1 1/2-year period until the clinic closure. Finally, I was employed as an examination and treating Chiropractor within a multi-disciplinary Orthopedic Worker's Compensation based medical practice where my duties included the examination and diagnosis of the patients, the formulation of treatment plans with appropriate referrals, the documentation of treatment progress, and various report writing. I would also be involved in providing Chiropractic treatment on a regular basis. The treatment techniques that I employ in the treatment of my patients include diversified manipulation, use of the drop table, pelvic blocking, use of percussive adjustment tool (Activator), physical therapeutics and modalities, exercise and postural balancing techniques, and nutritional recommendations. Having functioned in a multidisciplinary setting, referral to appropriate specialists is utilized when appropriate. I strive to not just "treat the subluxation" but to provide the patient in multifaceted treatment to make long-lasting lifestyle changes.
