CAREER HIGHLIGHTS * I converted paper maps to digital GIS files accessible from workstation PCs creating user efficiency and significantly reduced customer interaction time * I successfully converted the network from dedicated T-1 and copper phone lines to a Fiber Optics network utilizing SIP, VoIP and redundant routes for ensured business continuity. * I coordinated the establishment of co-located network infrastructure between separate sites, running on independent service providers across different power grids to further ensure business continuity and disaster recovery and resiliency * I developed a custom IP/PBX built on the open source Asterisks platform to realize major cost savings for the organization * I have traveled to and spoken at many user conferences across the country including: New York, New York Norwalk, Connecticut Roanoke, Virginia Tampa, Florida Palm Beach, Florida San Antonio. Texas San Diego, California Seattle, Washington * I was the chairperson of a Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Committee for the 811 (Call before you dig) organization for the State of Colorado. * As Business Continuity chairperson, I coordinated an all levels analysis of the business and business operations, developed outage scenario categories and possible impacts and presented multiple solutions at different cost levels for Board of Director consideration. I then overseen the implementation of each solution and coordinated testing of implemented solutions * I have Patent documentation and response experience for both obtaining a patent as well as disputing the issuance of patents
