SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS * Extensive experiences in design, developing, evaluation, and manufacturing nanoparticles related delivery systems for protein, peptide, and chemotherapeutics delivery for purpose of tumor/virus/fungi prevention, diagnosis, and treatment: polymeric micelles, dendrimers/dendrons, nanoparticles, polymer-drug conjugates, and biodegradable microparticles. * Proficient in polymer/bioconjugate/peptide/protein chemistry: synthesis, purification, and characterization of biodegradable polymers, structural/functional peptide, polymeric/peptide/protein conjugates, and small organic molecules. * Rich experience in instrumental characterization. Solid expertise in analytical/preparative HPLC, DLS, NMR, MALDI-TOF, lyophilization, LC/MS, CombiFlash, XRD, DSC, TGA, fluorescence, UV-VIS, FT-IR, CD et al. * Hands on experience in biochemical/cell biology assay and xenograft tumor model. Solid expertise in mammalian cell culture, ELISA, 3D extracellular matrix culture, confocal microscopy, human xenograft tumor model, and mice/rats handling. * Proven ability of independent work and cooperation with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team. Excellence in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication. SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS * Development of Triolimus, a 3-in-1 nanoformulation encapsulated Paclitaxel, 17-AAG, and Rapamycin with proven synergistic anticancer activity for angiosarcoma treatment granted by FDA. * Development of multiple polymeric nanoformulation for anticancer antibiotic protein delivery for liver cancer treatment. * Development of PEGtide dendrimer/dendron for HIV prevention/treatment and lung cancer metastasis inhibition. * Invention of oligo-lactic acid modified prodrug. * Invention of combination of micro - and nanoparticles for non-small cell lung cancer targeting treatment and metastasis inhibition.
