Description
SUMMARY Working with functional molecules and bridging the gap between chemistry and biology are my primary career goal. During my five-year Doctoral research, I acquired most of the core skills I aimed for: first of all, organic synthesis. Organic synthesis has been my major focus since my third year of undergrad and it is the basis of all my doctoral projects second, my five-year graduate school made me extremely experienced in dealing with peptides (solid phase peptide synthesis, purification, characterization, etc.) and proteins (purification, overexpression) furthermore, from this rich period of professional and personal growth, not only did I acquire advanced knowledge in both biochemistry and organic chemistry, but also the skills to utilize various spectroscopic methods and analytical techniques (HPLC, NMR, MS, CD, UV, Fluorescence, etc.).
