Description
Working with functional molecules and bridging the gap between chemistry and biology is my primary career goal. During my five-year Doctoral research, I gradually acquired most of the core skills I aimed: first of all, my five-year graduate school made me extremely experienced in dealing with peptides (solid phase peptide synthesis, purification, characterization, etc.) and proteins (purification, overexpression); second, organic synthesis. Organic synthesis has been my major focus since my third year of undergrad and it is the base of all my doctoral projects; furthermore, from this rich period of professional and personal growth, not only did I acquire advanced knowledge in both biochemistry and organic chemistry, but also the skills to utilize various spectroscopic methods and analytical techniques (HPLC, NMR, MS, CD, UV, Fluorescence, etc.).
