Description
was to Supervise staff in both Charlotte, NC and Denver on the evening shifts and ensure AS400, Servers, and Backup Support on the Insurance Department of the company were performing efficiently in the production and backup sites. Ensured site was up and running without delay or negative impact to SLA and/or TIAA at the start of the week. Key Results: Switch the critical apps from Charlotte to Denver's DR site so that weekly backups could be performed in production and in the back up sites for Charlotte and Denver. Supervise staff on the Denver evening shift and ensured AS400, Servers, and Backups were supported on the Insurance side of TIAA. PLAYED A KEY ROLE IN THE Y2K PROJECT. was to coordinate weekend work flow and staff in Denver to ensure that the mainframe platform was backed up and that the site met Service Level Expectations. Made sure that all weekend activities were completed and ensured that the DR site was available during down time at the production site. Key Results: Coordinated weekend mainframe job flow using the CA-Scheduler Coordinated weekend IPL's of three different DR mainframe systems Coordinated weekend Network Upgrades Set up, Tested and Maintained, Windows NT Servers and workstations and configured RAS Servers and clients. Provided Remote Access Support of those systems to end users.
