Seeking a position as a Bio-medical Equipment Technician where my recently acquired skills will be a benefit to physicians and organization staff, while providing excellent patient care at all times. Knowledge and Skill Bio-medical Equipment Technician: Basic electronic circuit theory. Responsible for maintaining and repairing damaged medical equipment. Installs, calibrates and tests new medical electronic devices and/or systems. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on medical electronic devices in accordance with manufacturer's recommendation, applicable codes, standards, and department policy. Conducts scheduled and unscheduled electrical and functional safety inspections on medical devices. Documents and maintains accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and adjustments performed on all equipment. Ability to read, comprehend and transmit detailed instructions in writing and verbally required.
