Maintenance * Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them checking blueprints repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary Perform routine maintenance such as inspecting drives motors or belts checking fluid levels replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions * Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas to repair * Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair then reassemble machines after the completion of the repair work * Appointed workers to specific jobs and tracked up-time/down-time for machine operations * Referred workers to outside continuing education courses through our partners Responsible for all purchase orders for equipment motors spare parts etc. Management * Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods such as inspectors machine setters and fabricators Read and analyze charts work orders production schedules and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs Maintain operations data such as time production and cost records and prepare management reports of production results for the overseeing board of directors * Implemented the use of easels during work shift to keep everyone accountable Executed personnel actions such as hiring evaluations and motivated employees to improve production methods equipment performance product quality or efficiency
