I am Hussain Afzal, a foreign medical graduate,MD from Dow University of health sciences, Karachi, Pakistan. I am currently doing a volunteer research assistant job in Lankenau Medical center.I have planned to pursue my post graduate studies in surgery and to struggle hard for making myself being counted as one of the leading Surgeon. Being an International Medical Graduate I know it’s difficult. So in order to make my application stronger I want to dedicate 1-2 years in your health system in a research programs like research fellowship or research assistant before applying good residency programs. It’s my passion and I am ready to work day in and day out for it. I am very thankful to you to give me this great opportunity. I have passed my USMLE board exam step 1 and step 2 and also certified by ECFMG . I am a hardworking and zealous person and have always been counted as good team player in my circle.
