CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Over thirty years of retail management experience, including eight years as a District Manager in charge of a multi-store environment: * Responsible and accountable for a maximum of 17 stores with a total sales volume in excess of $150 million and up to 800 employees. * Consistently increased overall sales volume each year from a minimum of 3.5% to a maximum of 7%. * Assumed responsibility for additional districts overseeing all operations of failing stores, which were successfully turned around under my leadership. * District selected as test market for multiple company initiatives and programs for high volume districts based on demonstrated efficiencies. * Only district within the region to develop a strong bench of District Managers-in-Training. Twenty five years of store management experience with responsibility for all operations including: * Managed a 32,000 sq. ft. store with sales volume of $9 million and 60 employees. * Assisted the District Manager with store audits, inventory preparation, and mediation of customer and employee issues with other stores in the district. * Participated on a select team of managers to set-up, merchandise, display and coordinate activities related to Grand Openings of remodeled and new stores.
