Eight years experience in hands-on synthetic chemistry techniques in the laboratory including analysis, characterization, and validation of compound structure using analytical instrumentation. * A desire to learn and improve new techniques and applications. * Able to quickly learn new instrument software. * Proficient at working on multiple projects concurrently. * Able to work as a member of a team (publications 5, 7, 10 and 12), in both leadership and non-leadership roles, to solve problems and work towards a common goal. * Also able to work independently to outline, design, and complete projects (publications 2-4, 6, and 8 - 9 * Excellent written and oral communication skills. In addition to drafting and revising own publications: reviewed, revised, and contributed to majority of written work generated in our research group.
