I have worked for four (4) local attorneys developing debt settlement, mortgage modification, and an auto loan settlement department for their firm. I was able to add to the revenue by implementing these programs by meeting with potential clients, discussing their situation and determining if the law firm and I could assist them. As a certified debt negotiator by IAPD I have the necessary education to evaluate the client's financial situation and run a NPV report on their mortgages to determine if the mortgage qualified for HAMP Tier 1, Tier 2, PRA Mod or the 2MP Mod as well as simply settling the underwater second loan. By doing the work myself with the oversight of the law firm I bringing in mostly referral business, I added revenue to the law firm's bottom line without adding work to the attorneys reponsability.
