Description
Dear Food & Beverage Manager: I am an experienced bi-lingual Chef, seeking a full-time, permanent position with an established company that will permit me to flourish in an atmosphere conducive to my creativity, allowing me to share my culinary knowledge and event expertise. As a Chef and business woman, I have a broad perspective of the Food & Beverage industry which compliments my repertoire. My experience in the culinary field began many years prior to becoming a Chef. As a young adult, I assisted in creating and cooking for social events. After college, I worked in the administrative field for 10 years, but I needed something more. Returning to my instincts and passion for food, I took a position in the Food & Beverage industry. My culinary career began when I was hired by an experienced Executive Chef whom had recently opened a new restaurant and was looking for an assistant. During five years I learned the intricacies of running a restaurant and received training as a professional Chef. In 2005, I opened a boutique catering business which led to an expansion of the business under a new name and an addition of a small Café in 2008. Although the business was successful and the experience invaluable, a few years ago I decided to further my career in a corporate environment. After working in off-site, remote catering for the past year, I am happy to say that I feel very comfortable in this type of venue and am looking forward to continuing my career with a solid company that offers off-site catering and logistical services. I have attached my resume for your review. Also, please feel free to check out my profile and letters of recommendation on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/erin-lynne-tuckwell/82/71b/782 . I look forward to the opportunity of working with you! Best Regards, Erin-Lynne (Barrios) Tuckwell
