CollapseDescription

I am a PhD candidate in experimental condensed matter Physics (Optical investigation of Semiconductors) at the department of Physics, University of Cincinnati, OH. My skills and trainings are mostly focused in the areas of Optics, Semiconductors, Growth and Solid State Physics. I am a self-motivated researcher and a quick learner. I have extensive experience with Organic Molecular Beam Deposition (OMBD) growth technique for nano- and micro-fabrication of organic and plasmonic hybrid semiconductor heterostructures at ultra-high vacuums. I use my trainings in microscopy (Optical, AFM, SEM, TEM) and various linear and nonlinear optical characterization techniques to investigate properties of organic/semiconductor nanostructures: Photoluminescence (PL) and time-resolved PL - Coherent exciton dynamics in quantum wells and nanowires - four wave mixing (FWM) - Heterodyne FWM - Stimulated emission - Second harmonic generation – absorption – reflectance and etc. under various cw- and ultra-fast pulsed laser excitation. You may find the full list of my research papers/publications in my CV. Motivated to acquire meaningful real world experience, I want to explore new directions, hone my skills and chase my dreams. I am confident that my knowledge and training both as researcher and a trainer, together with my team work and leadership experiences have made me ready for bigger challenges and responsibilities.
