Over thirty years of experience as a Computer Operator and Operations/Production Support Analyst on Large IBM z/OS, VM and similar MVS Mainframe Systems. Some UNIX and midrange experience, as well. * Successfully execute and monitor production schedules using manual processes and automated scheduling software such as ZEKE, CA-SCHEDULER, CA-7, CA-ESP and ESP Workstation. * Proficient in JCL, PARMLIBS and PROCLIBS. * Proficient with TROUBLESHOOTING, ABEND/JOB-FAIL resolution. Able to effectively resolve issues and restart jobs/processes via ADHOC or scheduled process with minimal turnaround time. * Effective written and verbal communicator with ability to translate technical information to non-technical customers. * Participated in Disaster Recovery exercises as requested, including traveling to an off-site DR Center. * Able to remain calm and work well in high-pressure situations while maintaining a strong, professional work ethic. * Highly dependable and a Team Player, constantly desiring to exceed expectations.
