Description
I have been in the telecommunications service for 37 years. Over that time, I have been responsible for the development of the first fiber optic based infrastructure for a local telephone company, developed the network and customer services for the first local competitive local service provider in Pittsburgh, and have created network designs for companies ranging from small to medium businesses to major fortune 500 companies. I am able to meet with a customer and make them comfortable with my telecommunications knowledge. Discussing with the potential customers where their communications network is presently, and talking about their current and future needs, I have been able to create, present, and sell highly reliable and cost effective networks. I am highly motivated and capable of working on my own with minimal direction as well as working with a team to accomplish major tasks. I have a good rapport with my coworkers and others with whom I come to interact. I am currently looking to either continue in the field of Sales Engineering, or move over to being part of a team designing, implementing, and maintaining the communications network for a major corporation.
