As you can see from my enclosed resume, my diverse Engineering, Technical and CAD skills, make me a strong candidate for this Engineering position. I have over 8 years of Manufacturing, Processing and Quality Engineering, over 15 years of experience in Mechanical, Design Engineering, Tool Design, Sheet Metal Fabrication and CAD/CAM. I have over 20 years in many types of shop procedures and special processes, such as CNC’s, Milling, Grinding, Turning, Multi-Axes Machines, Press Brakes, Stamp & Press, Coating, Brazing, welding, EDM. Laser Cutting, Heat treatment, NDT etc… I feel strongly that I could be a positive addition to a Team and I am motivated self starter. Most of the companies I had worked at were small to mid-sized and a lot of their Products were for the Turbine Engines, other High - Speed Rotating Component and of course Static Parts. I also worked on Land Based Engines for Power Generation too. I was a Tool Design Coordinator the entire Bracket Cell for over 5 yrs., which comprised of budgeting ,scheduling and ordering for that cell. I Completed Pratt & Whitney’s Tool Design Engineering Work Study Program. I got my start as a Tool Design Engineer. Currently I have been working as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer for the aerospace industry. I would have to manage the Project from Concept to Production. I would review the Purchase Orders, Contract and/or Tech Orders, Shop Assists and so on. I would make sure I have all the MQI’s, Specs and everything need to begin the Process. After all the development is done, I would create all the rest of the documentation such as the Process, Travelers, Operation Sheets, Parameter Sheets, Inspection Sheets, IMS, etc… to go Production of which I would work with the operators themselves. I would have created all the Tooling & Gages too. I would participate in the inspections the First Articles when necessary. Determined what other tests are required be done - NDT test, such as FPI or X-ray. I would write the Work Instructions for Inspection too. When I am finished with shop floor aspect of the Project all the operators and Inspectors will have their work instructions and will be able to work on the job without my assistance. Then I will continue on with the rest of the Project. I would have to write corrective actions, analyze, evaluated actions, troubleshoot and look for any other issues. I was always keeping in mind on cost reductions, and streamlining, lean manufacturing with new techniques and tooling to create a better product with faster set-ups. I have worked on several types MRP software programs, which included programs such as VISUAL, INTUITIVE, SYMIX and JobBOSS. My last position I participate with all the PPAP’s (Part Production Approval Process), of which I was directly responsible for the Process Flow, PCP (Process Control Plans) & PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. I have be Trained be Pratt & Whitney to use their Portal, to submit EQNS, go to the SDS - Supplier Delivery System Module, get Part Repair Status in the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Module. I also had training in Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma. Participated in Kaizen Events. One of my duties was being Internal Auditor. I can adapt to any job function, computer software and environment with ease. I have a "Can Do" attitude. I have successfully developed credibility with customers. I am a Microsoft Office user.
