Description
Providing expertise in teaching and research on population, environment, population dynamics and development, health and development issues (fertility, mortality and migration) for public policy and program development; facilitating the design and implementation of social, economic and demographic surveys and analysis of data collected; preparation of research report and dissemination of research information to stakeholders; Undertaking independent research on a variety of demographic, HIV/AIDS, health, environment, social and economic development issues at national/regional level; Coordinating the implementation of research by multidisciplinary teams; Writing research reports for publication and dissemination to national and international audience; Team member in evaluation of institutional and capacity building for economic management; Supervising project staff and external collaborators; Managing project budget, inventory of project equipment and providing periodic monitoring reports.
