Description
I have 30 years of experience in Business Development and Information Technologies centered on building and maintaining strategic client relationships. While I am a strategic thinker I am also very creative and believe the combination of those two disciplines has enabled me to be highly effective in my respective roles. My background spans a wide range of concentrations including sales, marketing, communications, discovery, development, deployment, technical support, consulting, vendor management and customer support. Articulate and seasoned at user training, sales presentations, and agile development, my communication skills are one of my primary strengths, both internal and external. I am able to successfully convey complex technical initiatives into business language, bridging the gap in communications between IT requirements and business needs and strategy. Over the past year and half I have worked as Product Owner/Manager for the national branding initiative for a Fortune 500, handling website development from concept to completion for 65 industry-leading title companies. My responsibilities spanned from discovery through maintenance and included business analysis and needs assessment to ensure unique content for each client along with leadership of an internal team of analysts, designers and developers using agile scrum methodology. In addition, I served as the copywriter and editor for the Chief Marketing Officer. Additional competencies include executive leadership, management (private business and corporate complex projects), product development (including digital and website initiatives), business analysis and planning, process improvement, financial analysis, budgets and cost accounting. My resume contains links to my portfolio of work under the publications section including hundreds of websites, articles, executive blogs, coffee-table books, a fiction novel and more.
